Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
Just noticed that Pellegrini is 3rd in LaLiga with Betis. Which is a pretty big deal over there.

Haller is also banging them in in the CL and won titles with Ajax.

Also, Moyes has done well at West Ham.

The point being that no one is really complete shit they just dont fit at whatever time in whatever context. And you cant say we should still have x etc.. because they've shown greatness as they've shown greatness in that context, not ours.

Dawson was also "shit" but pound for pound is probably the best PL signing of any club in years .

Its a funny old game...

jfk TWATRICK! very apt, all you want to do is mince about the smaller picture of where our managers fuck up on a very shit budget bar one average one of 60 million each summer window. We’ve never had a manager under this pair judged on his full squad with enough players he likes or has added. Instead we pick them apart because their punt fillers haven’t been a success or we have a talisman player that gets fucked off for doing all the work and leaves when they can get better easier money elsewhere.

The only consistency has been them in charge and even our current manager is working (better) under their miserly conditions. Let’s get one thing clear….Pellegrini’s budget over his two windows was average for a club that gets 55,000-60,000 crowds….

Side,
My discussion with you is pelligrinis bewilderence not our current astonishingly incompetence to spend in our recent transfer window.
Don’t change the subject.

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
He knew exactly where to turn….more money needed to be spent….three strikers went and three strikers needed to be replaced….now we all know the PL….what three strikers could you get for 60 million total?….probably the same three we just off loaded….he spent average really for a better striker and I think he knew that striker could function well up top on his own (we all saw it from the YouTube’s) so he pushed it through to get them to spend what needed to be spent….now there is where he was bewildered that they refused and would rather (yet again) go into a season light of players.

They have the record for this he doesn’t…..

,he managed Manchester City and had some success who wouldn’t given their spending power.my point is he was then ask to manage West Ham on huge wages who were a mid table side at best historically,he spent 90 million on two players who were fucking abysmal for us and then didn’t know where to turn for want of a better word bewildered.

jfk how can you be bewildered and yet have experience of managing clubs at both ends of the budget and experience of the Premier League?

They well and truly got their fingers burnt with Haller and fucking Anderson.
I forgot to add to the tune of 90 odd million.
What a fucking balls up?

Pelligini will only remembered for GSB being convinced they’d lined up a top manager.
They well and truly got their fingers burnt with Haller and fucking Anderson.
Pelligrini was given massive wages to come into an English club with the most passionate fans in London who was quite frankly bewildered and couldn’t fuck off elsewhere soon enough the fucking bollocks.

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
Nagel for me this is a club now set up in every other area (except training facility) to be a club in top the half. On the football side we’ve never been set up as a fully functioning squad with decent backup in all positions… to do that would take more than a 150 million over TWO summer transfer windows…..all of us have only seen that jump once in Leicesters title and that was a big part due to them having relative luck on the injury front and the other top teams having a mare…..I just want to put across a different angle is all as Haller was a striker brought in clearly needing another strike partner and with the likes of Roberto as well I can’t entirely believe he could fuck up that badly with his experience….I don’t think he’d done it before or since hence there is this thread.

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
Not sure why you think you know what he wants, or even why you don't consider the £150m he spent a semi decent budget, but that's up to you I guess.

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
Yes he is Nagel, but he is set up for contacts on budget in Latin leagues he can of course work at the higher end of any league but the PL is a league where he wants a semi decent budget…..hence the big meetings photos and pizzazz from our owners to persuade him….

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
Pellegrini went from Villareal to Real Madrid to Malaga, from Man City to China, from us to Real Betis. He's used to dealing with all kinds of budgets. In fact, he was highly critical of Real Madrid's Galacticos policy of spending loads of money on the best players, regardless of whether they fit the team. Making out that he expected to have shitloads more to spend is just nonsense.

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
Pellegrini in both his summer windows signed a 35/40 million major signing and a couple of younger with potential at 20/25 million the rest were freebies or low fees……no way did he come back to the PL and sign up for that… a lot of money for our owners to lay out but Pellegrini knew it costs a lot more….remember all the photos with him at Sullivan mansions….them telling us we’d got in a world class manager? They sold him a dummy and he knew he didn’t lose much reputation failing under those pair….

Defensively relying on Roberto and Noble cost pellegrini his job.

No coincidence that things picked up when Fabianski was fit and Soucek came in.

nerd
You forgot Ashton who is the only classic top class centre forward we have had.
Until that massive cunt Shaun Wright Phillips ended his career.

Not sure if it was true but understood that Pellegrini was resistant to the deal that we had in place to sign Fabianski from Swansea (£8m?) as he wanted Roberto as his number 1.
Mindboggling
Can remember watching Roberto warm up for about 3 mins and it was obvious he was shit before he even played.

Yep a back up keeper that already had bad rep in Spain and they were laughing at Pellegrini going for him when he had experience in their league….strange that….it’s like a point was being made getting in freebie shit back up.

Nagel 11:09 Sat Feb 12
Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
It's pretty obvious what went wrong in Pellegrini's time at West Ham. Fabianski got injured and our backup was dogshit. At that point, 7 games in, we were in 5th place and Haller looked good. Hell, even Yarmolenko looked good. But those two and Felipe Anderson aren't the sort who'll help dig you out of trouble when you're leaking goals and confidence is shot.

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
We say we need a forward but our best in the last 25 years dicanio, arnautovic and antonio all been players who can play multiple roles. When we get a forward we always moan there lazy , does a proper forward suit west ham ?

Side of Ham 10:47 Sat Feb 12
Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
Pellegrini’s team always looked like it was missing pieces of the jigsaw and I also think it was deliberate to get the owners to spend the real sorts of money needed……he didn’t come back to the PL to do a budget job that’s for sure….he only does that at Latin clubs where he knows technically the players are good and available for a reasonable price, in the PL you need in the main the top ones to at a top price to succeed
